My thesis revolves around utilizing leather scraps into weaving. I am bridging the gap between the market and the material which is abundantly available in the market. Pakistan is one of the top manufacturers and exporters of leather and leather products in this world which leads to excessive amounts of leftover leather in markets like Leather Bazaar and Chamra Chowrangi. I have taken inspiration for my collection from reptile skin textures as it’s a common practice to use reptile skins to make leather products.
