Streets conceal a million untamed stories of liberation, resonating with unceasing laughter and chaos of children engulfing everyone in its loving embrace. Running around the streets, jumping in puddles, and playing local sports are all part of a child's life in Karachi. However, some children do not have access to these outdoor experiences. Thalassemia, a blood disorder, pulls these vulnerable kids into isolated safe zones. For them, the streets of Karachi are no more than a hospital corridor or an agent of new infections. These children are entitled to a setting where they can make up for the experiences they have missed out on. A space where they can not only learn to accept their condition but also be comfortable with it. A controlled environment aimed to paint a space as a medium between two worlds: Inside and out. An experimental ground to connect the divide between broken experiences. A place where they can simply be kids
